FREE Multiple REGISTRATION:
Send a copy of your dogs papers to American Canine Registry by mail, fax or e-mail. The dogs papers will be issued to the persons name on the papers UNLESS a transfer is submitted along with a copy of the dogs papers. If the address on the papers is no longer valid then please correct it on the papers in legible ink. Requires a 3-generation pedigree to be submitted also. Pedigrees may be legibly hand written or a copy of a pedigree. AKC and APRI papers can be submitted without the pedigrees with a $15.00 fee. |

FREE SINGLE REGISTRATION WITH LITTER APPLICATIONS:
Send a completed ACR Litter Application along with a copy of one or both parents papers to ACR if one or neither are already registered with ACR by mail, fax or e-mail. Registration Papers will be made out in the persons name on the papers UNLESS a transfer is submitted along with the copy of the dogs papers. If the breeder of the dam is not the owner of the sire then Section B MUST be filled out on the litter application and the sires papers will be filled out and sent to the owner of the sire. 3-generation pedigree for each dog is required and pedigrees may be hand written or copied from another pedigree. |

Send a completed ACR Litter Application to ACR by mail, fax or e-mail. Litter Papers will be issued and returned promptly. Litter Applications may be gotten from ACR by mail, fax, e-mail or copied from ACR’s web site. |

HINTS & Helpful Suggestions: If you do not have a pedigree on your dog then a one time fee would be cheaper to pay to get one than to continue with high registration fees and even higher litter application fees. You might also try contacting the person whom you got the dog from and sometimes they can trace the dog back without having to pay any fees. There are also breed clubs around that document foundation/original stock that could help you get your line recognized down the road by “ACR”. These clubs issue papers as well and get your foot in the door to having recognized bloodlines and registration papers. These clubs may also be of assistance in helping you trace your dogs bloodline.
Statistics has proven that Papers do help sell puppies whether the buyer ever plans on registering the puppy or not...
sooooo ... Why not keep sells up or even increase them without reducing the size of your pocketbook?
Contact ACR if you need to find a breed registry to get in contact with too register your dogs with that do not have a 3-generation pedigree available.
