IBC - German Registration
Gratefully the IBC did rethink their decision and are still registering Biewer Yorkies from
breeders inside the United States.  Thank You Dagmar for your continued support of American Breeders.
Your ability to overlook a few for the good of the whole speaks of your integrity.

 OLD & OUTDATED NEWS!

The BYA has learned that the German Registry "IBC" will no longer be accepting registrations from US breeders.

See below

USA-Information

Because of vilification of my person, as president of the IBC, which are shown in America, I feel compelled to undertake, with immediate effect, no support for American farmers and lovers of the breed Biewer Yorkshire Terrier more.

Our goal was and is fairly athletic and deal with each other and do everything for the further development of the breed Biewer Yorkshire Terriers, and do not work with arguments that range far below the normal level.

The IBC has given the American Biewerzucht in every way active assistance and encouragement. We tried to make with all questions and resolve problems and now believe that
America can stand on its own legs.

There are plenty of clubs who can continue our work in the States.

We wish the American Biewerzucht all the best and sincerely hope that the ideas which Mr. Biewer had with this great race, will continue.

Dagmar

This is truly a sad day for the Biewer Yorkie and proves that there are those in the breed who do not have the
Biewer, it's history and it's future as the forefront of the interest of the breed.
BYA has never had any issues with the IBC or Dagmar and we truly hope the IBC will rethink their decision
and not paint all U.S. breeders and/or U.S. registries from the same brush as those who strive to cause
problems and apparently succeed.
The United States breeders who have caused this to happen have truly caused us a tremendous loss.
We wish the IBC and Dagmar all the best.

**************************************************************************************

For those of you who will be looking for a registry inside the United States to be using, we at BYA are
here to serve you.  We were the first United States Biewer Registry and have as our registrar the first
United States importer/breeder of Biewer Yorkies.  We are a non-political registry and refuse to get involved
in breeder disputes and the chaos that so many breeders feel the need to start, be a part of and escalate.
We have always separated ourselves from the other registries that feel the need to cause problems
and will not participate in their destructive behavior.  We are today who we started as in 2003 and
have never had a name change or leadership change since the beginning.
We have always been accepted for dual registration by IBC in the past and hope should IBC change it's
mind to accept U.S. breeders and U.S. registrations that the policy to accept BYA will continue.

Registration Requirement for Dual Registration from IBC papers:
  • Copy of IBC papers including Pedigree
  • Micro-chip number that is inserted in the dog at the time of registration

  • 4 whiskers (*pulled) complete with hair follicle on end (*tape to copy of papers)

  • $25.00 registration fees

  • Send to:
    BYA
    PO Box 360
    Fouke, AR. 71837
Allow 3 weeks for return of papers

    Side note:

We are only interested in those who are reputable, upstanding, moral, ethical and of upstanding
character and have our same philosophy of getting along.  If you are one of those that have caused
Dagmar's decision at the IBC then we request that you become a part of one of the other U.S.
registries that thrive on controversy and chaos as we will not tolerate such behavior at BYA nor
will we allow ourselves to be drawn into such controversy and ill behavior.
